The Computer Science and Engineering Department of UAP bade farewell to its students of batch on February 1, 2013. The Farewell programs arranged at the Mukta Mancha of CSE Department. Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor of UAP was invited as the Chief Guest of the program. He advised the graduating students of CSE to be serious about their life and career. He stressed on the importance of three things in life; time, opportunity and words. Because all three of these do not come back once they are wasted, gone or spoken. Spoken words cannot be retrieved, like the arrows. Opportunities don’t come back once they are let go, and time doesn’t wait for anybody, time goes by.
“You have to be smart and you have to prove yourself as smart people” he said. He also stressed on personal development and improvement. “Each day you should try to bring some positive changes, it will help you a lot.” he added. “If you make the right use of time only then you can be successful, no matter what you do.” he said. He asked the students to follow the example of Mr. Arif Reza Anwary, former student of CSE Department and the Faculty Member of CSE, UAP.
The Faculty members of CSE Department were also present along with the Head of the Department Mr. Aloke Kumar Saha. Later Pro Vice Chancellor unwrapped the souvenir of CSE Department.
The program was followed by a cultural segment. Students of CSE Department participated with drama segments, songs and dances.
